Grade ten I&S class had a visitor from the Heidelberg office of FIAN International (FoodFirst Information and Action Network)  http://www.fian.org/ in late February. The class heard a presentation on human rights and the work of FIAN International.  The presentation focused on the importance of adequate food and nutrition in developing countries. The visitor also talked briefly about career options in international organisations. Several students had good questions on  human rights. This presentation related to our most recent unit in which we have studied international organisations and their work.
