After last year’s Grade 3 had dealt with human rights, Eva was inspired to write the book “Me, a Slave” and Grade 3 turned this book into a film, and also into a play successfully performed during the End of Year Performance.Dealing with the topic of child labour and slavery motivated the students to find a way to raise money to fight this grievance. The idea of selling their artwork from the whole school year was born and thus a very successful silent art auction was held right after the End of the Year Performance:

183 Euro were raised and donated to unicef right away to help fight child labour and slavery, we received a long thank you letter and a certificate from unicef after the summer break. Last year’s Grade 3 – now already Grade 4 – were very proud!
