Grade 11 students Parth, Illya, Pavel, Justyna, Liv and Aykut visited the Waldpiraten camp on Monday 25th September to find out more about this organization which gives young cancer survivors the chance to come together for a 9 day holiday full of fun and adventure.

Their brothers and sisters can also join them at the camp where groups of 9-15 year olds, 16-17 year olds and young adults in the their twenties, seek to rebuild their lives and find new confidence and inspiration among their peers.

Chris Maier, one of the camp organizers, gave our students a tour of the facilities. They were all impressed by the following collage created by children visiting the camp.
